NEW Offers Financial Education

The Smart Consumer Program offers free workshops on money management and handling family
finances. The goal is to educate consumers and help them develop good spending and saving habits, use
credit wisely and plan to reach financial goals. Smart Consumer participants are provided with practical
tools to help track expenses, stick to a reasonable budget, read a credit report, repair bad credit, and
understand credit card solicitations and loan offers.  

Classes are held in English and Spanish from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Los Angeles and the San Fernando
Valley.
