600+ units of affordable apartments throughout Los Angeles as well as

Single family homes for purchase to low and moderate income families.

The Power of Place
At New Economics for Women, we believe the “Power of Place” has the ability to transform lives. When we build housing developments, charter schools or community centers, we imagine an environment where people are empowered to realize their dreams and aspirations. Then we set out to create places where people feel welcome, safe and secure and can experience a sense of abundance and success.

Since our inception in 1985, NEW has created many powerful places - over 600 units of affordable Apartments to Rent,  homes for over 1,500 men, women and children. In addition to apartments, NEW is now offering homes for sale through our NEW CASA program. We are helping families get into these homes through  Homebuyer Education and to keep their homes through Foreclosure Prevention.  And our work is not done.  We look forward to these Upcoming Developments.
