NEW Success
Parents, as well as their children, can benefit from NEW Success, a personal development program consisting of workshops that help participants shape a better future for themselves. NEW Success teaches participants how to set and accomplish personal goals, improve interpersonal communications, and reduce family conflict.
NEW Charter Schools
Elementary school students flourish and learn at NEW Charter Schools which serve two of the communities where NEW provides affordable housing. NEW Academy of Science and Art (NASA) is located in the Pico-Union area, just west of downtown Los Angeles. NEW Academy Canoga Park is located in Canoga Park in the east San Fernando Valley and is part of Tierra del Sol, one of the unique NEW Communities.
NEW Learning Centers
Children are able to reinforce what they are learning at school at NEW Learning Centers, located at several NEW Apartments and at three FamilySource Centers. Students in grades K-7 can come to the NEW Learning Centers afterschool and during the summer for homework assistance, tutoring and fun educational enrichment activities.
NEW Money
NEW offers free workshops in English and Spanish on many useful financial topics including money management, credit and creating a family budget as part of its NEW Money program.
NEW Technology
